Ethereum Validator Node (Prysmatic & Teku Clients)

Ethereum Validator Node

Solo Staking is the Ethereum Foundation’s “gold standard” for staking ETH. Run Validator nodes on your own infrastructure public cloud or bare metal and stake 32ETH per node.

Launchnodes allows you to choose between Prysmatic or Teku software to be a Solo Staker and run Validator nodes and stake ETH. The Ethereum nodes run on infrastructure you own, while mnemonics, passwords, or public or private keys are never shared with Launchnodes. Your Validator node can connect to your own Beacon node (Prysmatic or Teku) or as a default will connect to Launchnodes ‘always ON’ Beacon Nodes.

Maximise returns

Solo Staking ETH with Launchnodes allows you to earn the maximum staking returns without giving away commission to a Staking as a Service provider. It also gives you total control and choice on your staking architecture.

Minimise Staking vendor risk

Launchnodes enables customers to become Ethereum Solo Stakers by providing open source software and a transparent technology stack. Owning your own nodes on your own infrastructure means you should never have to log in to a vendor website to access them. Third party vendors present a risk that Solo Staking mitigates.“Not your keys not your ETH” is not enough: Solo Stakers have access to mnemonics and need never share it with a third party. means With or without Launchnodes, you continue to be a Staker and nobody else has access to your funds or your nodes.

Infrastructure diversity

Launchnodes help you Solo Stake on public cloud, data centre infrastructure you own, third party bare metal, or your own. Solo Staking means only you have access to your staking infrastructure and you own all the nodes (execution layer, Beacon and Validator) and can choose your client software (Geth, Teku or Prysmatic).

Managing your nodes

As independent validators, our clients can keep track of their nodes’ performance via any beacon chain explorer available online. The Launchnodes engineering team is always there if your nodes need technical support, and to provide software updates for all your nodes, ensuring they are maximising your returns.

The concierge service was great for me. I knew I wanted to run a node but without the technical knowledge this non-custodial service allowed me to stake my Ethereum and not hand my ETH over to a 3rd party.

I used their concierge service, I am not technical Launchnodes walked me through the set up. Well worth it otherwise I would not have had a clue. Using their product on AWS means I dont have to worry about my node going down.

FAQ

The Ethereum foundation defines a Validator node as a virtual entity that lives on Ethereum and participates in the consensus of the Ethereum protocol. Validators are represented by a public key and other properties. A validator client is software that acts on behalf of the validator by holding and using its private key. A single validator client can hold many key pairs, controlling many validators.
You run a validator by the act of depositing 32 ETH to activate validator node software. As a validator you’ll be responsible for making attestations, verifying transactions, and adding new blocks to the network. This will keep Ethereum secure for everyone and earn you new ETH in the process. Launchnodes make running a validator on your own infrastructure easy.
32 Ethereum is required to run a validator on mainnet or on the Ethereum testnet. It is the minimum amount that you can solo stake to run an independent Ethereum node infrastructure.
